What exactly is required to get your own language subforum?

We already have an American language Forum.. you may not have realised; it's called Flame wars.

If you can show there are enough people here to use it, lack will consider it. The best way to do this is to post a thread asking for supporters/potential users of the new language forum to post in there.

from a personal discussion with lack i know he's not interested in adding more language subforums at this point. probably when phpBB3.0 is introduced.

i asked for a romanian subforum and told him we are quite a few and very talkative and that was his answer.

No time frame was specified in my post. It's still the best way to go about it, since showing us everyone that would use a new language forum and just saying "yeah we're a bunch of people" are two entirely different things. Plus PM'ing lack isn't the best way to get things done. ;-)
