What color wins the most out of 6 player/standard games?

I know I posted this once before, but this time I figured I would take a poll (if it hasn't been done before).

Which color do you win with the most, and why do you think that?

peace,

DaGip

red and green have to be in every game started, so the odds of those 2 must be higher. I dont have time to figure out the odds for each color.

i picked green since 1 vs 1's the last player to join has the edge.

Green, because I join mainly 1 v 1 games.

Probably green, but the difference between green and red would be very slight. The only time green would get the advantage is in freestyle 1v1's and that wouldn't make an enormous difference.

In a 6 player game, pink has a slight edge in Freestyle. Very slight...

In a 6 player game, I doubt starting first gives any advantage at all. It makes a difference in 1v1 since you get to weaken your opponent first. But above that when you have multiple opponents there are far to many variables for it to give you an advantage. If you reduce one person's starting bonus and secure a continent someone else will just end up attacking you.

I agree, that's why I noticed very slight. Indeed that's more important in 1 vs 1 games.

Where's the "The colour I am"-option?

PostPosted: Mon Sep 24, 2007 8:57 am

it's under the option marked 'Yellow' McDeFe! O:)

Unfortunately it's also under red, green, blue and pink. Not under teal, though, at least not at the moment.

It's logical that red wins more often, since s/he has chosen game conditions

I'd have thought red since they usually create most of the games and so they should be the best at those settings quite often. Obviously I'm wrong...

I know the spider told you RED...but why???

The spider suggests:
"The Turtle must be able to tell give a definitive all time 6 player colour spread.
If we were to have that ... then we could talk! i suspect if there are significant differences between the ratio of wins to colours, that there is a plethora of reasons! - including: influence of certain shades on mood, visibility, who starts... etc etc .. but until we really know that there is in fact a marked difference, it is conjecture without foundation."

So the spider says anyway .. me i really don't give a monkey! (you should hear what the monkey has to say about it!

Did you let your monkey vote?

Anyway, just to let you guys know (I must be a real nerd for doing this!), I found all my 6 player standard games and this is what I found:

Out of 46 games

Red-9/46=20%
Green-15/46=35%
Blue-5/46=11%
Yellow-4/46=9%
Pink-9/46=20%
Teal-3/46=7%

So as you can see, I voted green from my own experience. So, the edited post should read "Which color wins the most out of 6 player/standard games?"

I was quite surprised that Pink ranked so high...while Teal has the worst win rate in my experience.

Can somebody else who has more games than me run percentages on 6 player/standard games?

red 08/71 11%
green 15/71 21%
blue 12/71 17%
yellow 13/71 18%
teal 13/71 18%
purple 10/71 14%

of my last 71 finished 6 player game, mostly standard sequential flat rate or no cards, some freestyle, some assasin and terminator

PostPosted: Tue Sep 25, 2007 8:20 am

red 20/93 = 21.5%
green 19/93 = 20.4%
blue 22/93 = 23.7%
yellow 11/93 = 11.8%
teal 16/93 = 17.2%
pink 5/93 = 5.4%

Very varying numbers so far, I think we need a larger database to work with.

You sicken me almost as much as i sicken myself for doing this DaG!

red 41/181 22.65%
green 34/181 18.78%
blue 25/181 13.81%
yellow 29/181 16.02%
teal 29/181 16.02%
pink 23/181 12.71%
All 6 player: Mainly Standard, a few Terminator and a very few Assassin

Based on my figures in isolation: as i say we need all figures to make this in any way useful
In my opinion, the only viable reason that red is the winner is that the game board and style is chosen by red.
I would say this could be a large factor in the other colours percentage. The speed at which the next slots are taken will depend on the keenness of the player to join; Green is more likely to be a specialist at the settings than the last to join (pink). Pink may just join as they will not have to wait as long to play and may know nothing about the tactics of the preferences chosen.

The Blue anomaly? well perhaps it's a Republican thing!

right that's it! this is wearing very thin!
