If you are in an open game with someone when you put them on your ignore list, do all of their chat comments suddenly disappear from your screen?

ahhh.

Someone accused me of a secret teaming thing, so I "ignored" them. When I came back I didn't see the comment, anymore, so I thought it got "removed" and felt better... I guess I shouldn't feel better, after all.

And as long as you have that person on ignore, you won't be able to read their in-game chat messages. However everyone else will be able to.
