Another team play question (points awarded)

I have a question that I haven't seen answered in the How to Play section or the forum.

If I've got a doubles or triples game, and I lose a teammate, but then my team wins anyway....

...which of these happens:

(1) eliminated teammate still is given an equal share of points awarded along with winning player(s)
(2) eliminated teammate loses no points, gains no points
(3) eliminated teammate loses just like the losing team member(s), and winning players get points from them all

I was under the impression that (3) was how it went.

I haven't actually seen this in real life, because teams that lose a player have never won in my experience.

But I'm curious. :)

Thanks!

Can you point me to a game where this has happened?

I skimmed through the completed triples game list, and the only people eliminated were all from the same team.

Or does the elimination indication always match the winning team, and never who was actually eliminated, in team games?

OK, to answer my own question, it looks like this is the case: even if a player is eliminated, if the team wins, they don't show up as eliminated. The whole team shows up as win, all opposing team members show up as eliminated.

A bit confusing. Maybe the rules could use a few more details.

If you go back in the game logs you can see who was eliminated and if that team ended up winning.
Its a lot of work tho, besides i have played a lot of team games and it has happened several times with me.

Yeah. Iceman is correct here. If you get killed off, but your team mates manage to pull it through, you show up as a winner and get an equal share of the points.

I can't point to a game (to lazy... :D ). But it happens to us now and then.

an ended game only shows 1 team being wiped out and another winning. i think the system works well at the moment as a team mate can b a martyr in which case they deserve points. on the other hand i hate winning a triples game when one of the people on your team deadbeated and then they get ur hard erned points
