I know you can't see enemy troops that are not adjacent to one of your territories but can you see deployments in the game log so you can have a reasonable idea what is where?

Also, what about adjacent territories that can attack only one way? Can both sides see the other's troop levels?

First question: No

GreecePwns deployed 3 armies on ?

Second question: I'm assuming yes if I understand your question right. if the armies are next to each other you should be able to see them.

Even when they are right next to you, the log doesn't say where they've deployed.

cool

i think the answer to this would be no.

the xml for one way boarders would tell the game engine that for example;€

inner mongolia boarders mongolia so this makes mongolia visable as its an adjected terr.

Mongolia howver doesnt have a boarder with inner mongolia in the XML, so this will not be see as an adjecent terr, and there for would not be visable with war fog.
