Current Games NOT Changed by New Rules

I know a lot of the complaining around the new rules has focused on games in progress being played by new rules, but I am in an active SEQUENTIAL DOUBLES GAME that began BEFORE the new rules were implemented and the old rules seem to still apply.
Namely: Myself and my partner were both able to move sequentially and our opposing partners are also able to move sequentially.
Is everyone who is complaining SURE that the new rules have affected their games in progress?

The old rules will apply until the round is finished, at which point the teams will begin to move alternatively.

I really dislike how lackattack took away the freestyle doubbleturns allowed rule! It made the game alot funner and it was the best way to play conquerclub! I cant stand not playing with out it, it really does have a big effect on the game and how it is played. Conquer will never bee the same without it!!!!!!!

Thanks. When the new round starts I will repost if the Old Rules still apply.
I also found a quote from Lack supporting your post, so I will take that as the new truth...unless there is a bug!

so, as it turns out, I can confirm that the rules change did occur in the next/new turn of a game that had begun before the implementation.
which sucks, because we both came to the forums to tell people to relax because existing games had NOT changed - and we were wrong about it.
and,
it sucks because now I've left myself undefended expecting my partner to back me up!!
oh well, not the end of the world.
I will live to fight another day!

this really confused me because at first it seemed the rules weren't implemented in existing games but then it changed. an official notice would have been very usefull in this situation but i like the new rules so i don't mind
