Age of Might question

This is a really interesting map (though it makes me feel like I need a new pair of glasses). Question to those who have played it, does getting 5 armies for a single territory (the castles) unbalance the game? I assume they start neutral, but still, it seems like a lot of troops for a single space.

In a 3 player game I was in, all 3 started with a +10.

Everyone starts with an equal number of castles, and nothing else. The rest of the map is neutral, with varying troops (1-6), and it's your job to conquer those and build your empire.

Wow, that is so cool! Thanks for the info. It sounds so logical when you put it that way. That is definitely on my short list of maps to try.

That issue has been taken care of (sort of). The neutral values for the territories between those two castles has been raised. There are still territories around those castles with low neutral values - such that you can still conquer territories. It's just no longer a 1 in 4 chance (27% as per BaldAdonis) that you can get a second castle on the first turn if you have one of those two on the drop.

And yes, I was on Xi and my vanquisher was on Figye...

I believe it'll be a Trilogy, meaning there will be 3 maps based on it.

I played it once, and REALLY enjoyed the map, even though I was taken out in the second round. I had Mau and was killed by Ghyr. (But I didn't understand that villages can attack each other. I have joined a FOG version. Definitely on my play list. LOVE IT. Bravo to the creator.

the docks can attack each other, its just coincidence that all docks have a village on same territory lol. look for the little things sticking out into water and the dock to take sanctuary doesnt have a village
