sometimes i have some trouble with the speed in freestyle games, 'cause of a small lag.
is it advicable to turn off bob when playing freestyle games? or doesn't it mather that much?

most people (i am one of them) notice that teh game runs faster with bob off so if you are doing RT freestyle i would advise yes

If you really can't live without BOB, you can always disable some of the more intensive options, like text map and probably clock too to reduce the lag.

The text map lag on Age of Merchants used to kill me.

hi, i'm kinda new to the site and I'm just wondering: why's the BOB called the "BOB" anyway? what's "BOB" stand for?

i tried using the search function but apparently the term origionated a long time ago and has been used a lot and I'm definitly not going to search through all the posts in each of the threads on that list of search results for "BOB" to find out where the term originated.

and um... mabye this isn't the right place to ask such a question but... o well.

they voted on a name and mine was already used so they used bob as an alternative

I feel like the only one on the site with absolutely no add-ons.

if the text map kills you in age of merchants then try puting it on extended mode on age of realms: might or on the new chapter of the realms trilogy.

It's an acronym for "Battle Observation Briefing".

There may be a lag while BoB runs..

But if I had to count everything myself, there'd be a bigger lag.
