What happens to games with multis in them?

If two or more players are busted as multis or for having a secret alliance, what happens? I'm assuming any games they are currently in are deleted...but what about games that were already completed... Do they get deleted as well?

They get to complete any games they are in, and they are barred from playing with each other.

Well that seems rather unfair...if cheating is occurring why is it allowed to continue for the rest of that game? I think it would make more sense for lack to just delete the game like he does with corrupted ones that occur if the server goes down...

He doesn't delete games really, only on very special occasions does he. It's a hassle to him and the server.

Gotcha. So the cheaters still remain on the site, and just aren't allowed to play together? Seems like it would be fairly easy to cheat again like that, but it must be really hard to prevent in any case.

Only one account stays active, and usually if they upgrade to premium they are given a 'cleaner' slate.

It is a PITA to delete a game because I have to notify all players, delete records in 4 different places, and if necessary calculate and change the player scores. But I could automate the process if I wanted to.
Another issue: what if a non-cheater thinks he/she is winning? I don't want to make judgement calls on the deleteability of each game the multis were in.
And what if we get new evidence and reverse our decision on the cheater? Okay, that rarely happens but it would be a mess.
So basically, people stuck in games with multis have to suck it up so that the people who run Conquer Club can focus on more important things!

Yeah I figured those would be the types of problems. I noticed that I won a game with a multi a while ago and just never noticed. They constantly took their turns back to back and didn't attack each other. It would seem a bit unfair to me to delete that game since I won anyway....but then again its unfair to the people that were eliminated because the multi was attacking them and not me. And since you can't be 100% fair to everyone I guess its best to leave the games alone.

All this is a bit weird to me..I thought multis were checked for regularly but from these exchanges it seems not? Can someone tell me how to spot multis cos i wouldn't know one if it bit me ...Cheers!

Spotting multis
1.working together closely and letting each other survive(like not attacking a one man border)
2.close log in times
3.in alot of other games together
