Deadbeat in an assassin game [Answered]

The rules are that if a person's target deadbeats, they get their target. But what if the deadbeat's target was himself? :o

I'm pretty sure that this (Player A and B having each other as targets) never happens. I think that the game prevents two people from havng each other as targets, to avoid your scenario.

I could be wrong, but I think that the admins must've thought of this before. But what do I know?

Yeah as Jecko7 said i have never seen my target also be my assassin.

hmm yes i see what you mean. But this whole scenario i have created is just theoretical. For all i know, 6 people could deadbeat in an 8-player assassin game

If there are any closed loops in the game, that could concievably happen. I think the game must be set up to prevent that though...

Say if the following set up happened,

Player 1-Player 2
Player 2-Player 3
Player 3-Player 1
Player 4 - Player 5
Player 6 - Player 4

Then if 2 and 3 dropped, 1 would be fighting himself, since 1 2 and 3 are in a closed loop. It would be easy to prevent, though, by having a loop that encompassed all the players. :geek: (1,2 2,3 3,4 4,5 5,6 6,1 or some combination)

Targets are always assigned as a cycle that includes all players. The situation is impossible here.

However unlikely that scenario is, Player A would win because he is the last one standing.
