Forums Back Up. Is any thing different about the forum... If so what?

*im so confused*

All the time that i am usually on here.... the forums were dead. Was this part of the server overload thing? or the phpBB3.0 thing? why is the forum dying?

I think they tried to upgrade it again, and failed

that was an epic 3 (at least 3, probably more) hour FAIL. if that was the problem....

The forums were purposely taken down because the recent database issues were killing the site during peak times. By taking the forums offline, it allowed us more "room" for the games, so games could stay active during peak times. It was a temporary bandaid until Lack can get on with a hopefully better fix.

whats going on with all the "you cant make a post so fast" messages....

Even with changing threads and reading topics, it yells at me cause i am posting too fast....

The interval between messages has been increased due to server load. That's why you keep getting those messages.

whats wrong with the servers? theyve been fine all along up until the failed phpBB upgrade.....

Lack thinks there's a corrupt table in the database, so not really the server.

See, this is why nobody named "wicked" should be dealing with things like the database.....it just screams corruption.

Mmmhmmmm......sure you do.

Not only you can't post so fast messages but just not being able to post or access the forum/profiles/and more...

If they made a simple change.
Let User Group moderators delete post..It would free up half the data base.
