My friend is out of town for the weekend and asked me to watch his account, keep everything updated and whatnot, however i know there are some rules against playing games which this account is also a part of (there are probably a good 10 of his 100 games that i am in) so what do i do when it comes to those games?

You should not be babysitting his account if you are in any of his active games.

simply get hold of a buddy of yours, and ask him to take the turns in those games only......give him the pw, and explain the reason. Otherwise, even if you try honestly to take the turns as he would.....there will always be somebody who wonders if you played fair.....it's not worth risking friendship over that........good luck.

As far as i understood it, its as long as i dont take turns in those games, which im not...

He has gone out of town (i think) and will not have comp access, hence my temporary control... but the problem is, if i dont take the turn then he misses turns and couldnt that also be shown as purposely helping them lose? especially in fast paced games...

I'm in similar situation as you are.

Just take the turns of which you are not in and let somebody else take care of those games you are in.

If you do not take his turns in the games that include you
it will be seen as not doing anything.

This is allowed though. You're not supposed to join any games with both accounts however.
