Hello a2zsteve,
Your activity on Conquer Club has aroused suspicion and triggered an
investigation by a staff member. It has been determined that you have most
likely violated Rule #1 (i.e. no multiple accounts) or Rule #2 (i.e. no secret
alliances) with the following: newleaf.
We've blocked you from playing new games with the members mentioned above.
Regards,
The Conquer Club,
If you had looked further than your ego you would have seen that we have never played each other. So how the hell, have you determined the above without asking either of us a single question.
Plus how the hell can we have a secret allliance when we never play together!!!!
Newleaf is my wife - we have never played in the same game together, we dont intend to either because theres to many morons like you on the site who see themselves as judge, jury and exectioner.
So, I suggest you shove your suspicions and inuendo where the sun dont shine.

As far as i understood, this shouldn't be an issue, even if they team together.
Whats the clear rule here? I have read many threads that people do the above without a problem.

So why do you think you are so special, the mods are simply trying to rid the site of the many many multis and you obviously triggered one of their
safeguards. They have no way of knowing the other account is your wife so why are you taking it personally, no harm has been done anyway so why the tantrum. I was blocked from playing with my father ages ago because we often share the same IP address, to me that is perfectly reasonable and Im happy the site bothers to try and weed out the cheats.

Just be patient, I'm sure everything would be sorted out soon enough. This is an instant open and shut case.

Actually, it was AndyDufresne who put on the block. And looking at the evidence we have, I am also quite suspicious the two of you being a multiple account!

Real simple, even for you comic,
All they had to do was ask.
Your right it makes no difference as we never play each other, but the point of the post was not the punishment, it was that players are assumed to be guilty before any investigation or questioning takes place.
And this came about because wicked lost to my wife in game #2004490 and not because of anything else.

In the game chat newleaf usually says "hi and gl" while a2zsteve "hi", it's crystal clear to me that those two are different person.

No assumption of guilt. A hard look at the evidence and a balance of probabilities. We've blocked or busted over 1500 multis since the start of 2008. Do you think we'd be able to keep the cheating to a minimum if we had to question each suspect? It would take forever to investigate our leads.

and also, newleaf is basically a polite person while a2zsteve is brash when games don't go on well.

He said it was his wife, that might explain using the same computer. So why suspiciouns on multies?

So they should ask all multies if they really are multies or if it's friend, cousing, sister, brother, mother, father, sibling or gay friends or whatever. Does that sound reasonable to you`?

I routinely scan everyone I play, win or lose. When I did, it looked suspicious, so I passed it on. I did ask newleaf your relationship and passed that on as well. So f*ck Off. You're not busted, you're just prevented from playing each other so as not to arouse any MORE suspicion. Get over it. If you're not guilty you have nothing to worry about. Just make sure you're not playing any turns on her account.
BTW, it's "you're" not "your". Good Day.

Bravo...(thunderous applause from the cheap seats at the back) I wondered when someone would bring that up.

looks like a2zsteve is right about how this came to be noticed.
His reaction seems a bit over the top though since the only action has been to block him from playing with newleaf.
If my wife were to join I'd probably make an announcement so the mods could set up the block in advance and save everybody some time.
I'd be more suspicious of multis if both were freemium accounts.

Exactly Hound. However, we've heard firsthand of some high ranking premium accounts creating a 2nd account just to try out new maps and settings, or ones who end up taking over a wife's or friend's account. All previous reasons why some high profile premium players have been busted, so no one is above suspicion, although the majority of multis are freemies.

and when I bring high ranked players to everyones attention, nobody believes it until they are busted. they think theres no way that player is a cheater because he is ranked high but never stop and see thats how he did it.

I have to side with Steve on this one, I don't think you have the right to block him, because his wife wanted to play
