Question About Bonuses

I have a question. Take a look at this game for a minute:

I left Blue both bonuses because I figured Red would break at least one. After all, Red has a bonus and I do not. However, Red didn't feel like he needed to break the bonus. Now, Blue is probably going to have both Africa and South America.

My question is this:

Do you think it is the responsibility of those with bonuses to break others with bonuses?

Also, why is Red leaving 29 armies in a place where they can't attack anyone?

1 he does what he wants, this is war, no responsibilities. 2 to defende his bonus, now noone can break it

You can't rely on other people to break bonuses even if they have got a bonus themselves. After all no one has a responsibility they can play the game the way they want.

And after all he can't be that bad, red ended up winning that game. :P

Yeah, there's absolutely no responsibility there. You're really taking a calculated risk when you try to predict what another player's going to do. If you're paying attention and you see that player's consistently trying to break the bonuses of a strong player, you might take a chance and assume they'll take care of that, but you obviously have no guarantees.
