Slow...?

I understand with all the upgrading it's expected, but how much longer will it be this way? Besides the down time, now that it appears everything is up and running, the site is still very very very slow, I can't even access some games, and when I try to view recently finished games, the website lags out. I'm really on a slow computer and I've never had problems before...

Hopefully this is resolved by the time I get home from work.

We had some problems when we launched the update. PhpBB3 performs differently than phpBB2 and I hadn't taken some aspects of that into consideration. A big thanks to the folks at Rackspace for helping me find the issue :D

HA!!! you know i can take it!!!! that was an auto-generated "defensive post" fired off from my updated BoB!!! you made the thing, you should know how it works and should be able to spot an auto-BoB post from a real post! hell, i wasn't online, so i had it set to auto-defensive-answer!!! you slagged me, and my BoB went into effect to cover my ass!!!-0

Had similar problems with the timeout scenario and got kicked of the site altogether at one stage.

The following shows how the lag affected my plays in on particular game:-

2008-03-27 17:00:04 - Daryth receives 2 armies for holding Napoleon
2008-03-27 17:00:04 - Daryth receives 3 armies for holding Any Three French Commanders
2008-03-27 17:00:04 - Daryth receives 6 armies for 19 territories
2008-03-27 17:18:30 - Daryth cashed in a set of Picton 06, Ney 04, and v. Blücher 06 worth 6 armies
2008-03-27 17:18:30 - Daryth gets bonus of 2 armies added to v. Blücher 06
2008-03-27 17:22:44 - Daryth deployed 2 armies on Chapel S Lambert 01
2008-03-27 17:30:33 - Daryth deployed 3 armies on Napoleon
2008-03-27 17:32:53 - Daryth deployed 6 armies on Picton 04
2008-03-27 17:34:55 - Daryth deployed 6 armies on Ney 06

The time gaps were when i was getting timeout messages coming up every time.

Not trying to moan - merely advising of the situation so it can be looked into :)
