Just been promoted from raw recruit to private and all I had to do was lose 5 times. I 'spose this must happen to everyone. If I can keep up the losing streak I guess I'll get busted back to Cook - tho' I would like to think of myself as a sous-chef.
Is it worth stitching that stripe on?

I sleep on a simple woven straw mattress- when I sleep. I don't allow myself much of it, because I know my opponents don't sleep at all- their eyes are unblinking and filled with anger. The destruction of them occupies my every moment.
There is no covering on the only window in my room, but I don't look at the light much, it shines too bright, it distracts me from focusing on my moves, and gives me sharp headaches. To alleviate these I chew on aspirin, I wash it down with warm water and salt.
Nothing is too important in my quest for rank. Nothing. I beg of you- do not cross me. I will attain the rank of "Commodore" because I was born to do it. I will walk in the sky with other great men who have had the same rank, such as the great Lionel Richie, history will never forget what I have done.
It is all about rank on Conquer Club.

It's worth it. Oh God, it's worth it.
I smeared off 3 - 8 player games today, gain 270 points and for the first time got my "Looey" Rank. This, all despite a severe speed game addiction.
It should not matter, and many state they don't care, but it does.
Deep down inside, every cook feels his worth.

And Larry?
I was once like you, but I switched to Advil and a colostomy bag.
No joke. Improved my win percentage by 6.
