Posted: Thu Mar 27, 2008 2:12 pmAs a kid I loved 'Risk.' I was never any good at it; age brings no improvement either. But all this game playing reminds me of my all time fave board game. 'Escape From Colditz' by Parker (tm) games.
I loved playing the Germans. I think it was the glossy black playing pieces. I think the Yanks were blue, the Poles red perhaps - or were they Welsh. The French should have been yellow. Har Har! (soz I'm English, and it's my birthright to have a pop at the Frogs). I can't 'member what colour us lot were, but then we were always tunneling. Anyway......
Anyway, wouldn't it be dead brill if like it were poss to have a Colditz themed game on this site. I wish I was clever and industrious enough to create one, but I aint and I can't be arsed. But Colditz Castle with all its draughty corridors, the Staff Car and shoot to kill. Dream on!
