Petition To Reinstate the "classic" map PART DEUX

Since this was taken down and swept under the rug of a "debate" thread I am forced to make a new one so the voices of CC can be heard.
As many of you have noticed the original classic map has been revamped into a distracting and hard to read product. Many of us dont go into the map foundry as we have no time or interest in the making of new maps. THis is different as this is the map everyone grew up with and have come to love. There was nothing wrong with the original map. Please join me in signing this petition to change it back.

If this new development was to resolve issues for those with sight colour issues it has to be worse...I cannot tell the difference between blue and green on N America or Europe now.

Hey guys, #12 here... after talking it over with Lack, I'm pretty sure he's willing to listen to constructive suggestions in this thread here:
viewtopic.php?f=64&t=41592&p=1256864#p1256864 The threads here in GD weren't shut down to quiet the masses, rather to move the discussion and focus it on
where to go from here in that above-linked thread. So while I know people still want to get in on the petition, he's not going to see any suggestions posted here; however, the point has already been made and Lack has indeed noticed.

I'm curious what percent 57 is to the thousands of users on this site? If you want your voice "heard" why not participate in the discussion linked in every Classic thread posted on the General Discussion forum to date, instead of adding one more distraction? Maybe it would be equally effective if you would make up a few banners saying "REINSTATE THE CLASSIC MAP!" and then go chase the Olympic Torch around San Francisco.

Please either sign or dont post here. This thread isnt for discussion. Its for people who have been here a long time and dont want to see this map or this site be degraded. thanks

You're in the Bay Area... so go outside and make yourself useful and bring some attention to this tragic oversight. I'm sure you have read all the threads that have been gunking up this forum for the past 24 hours or so, but your focus has been understandably narrow. Maybe if you read them one more time right now you will realise that the "Classic" issue is being looked into an dealt with, and that there just might be a hint hidden in those threads that will reveal a way you can actually participate in a satisfactory solution.

Ovo i don't know you, and you are no dubs or tripps or esc CLASSIC player otherwise i would have known you.
Classic is what it means... it's the reason why people play this game.....
It does not have to be pimped. pimp the 25 dollars to 25 hell even make it 50 but don't pimp a classic.
And for everybody like me. the thread about the classic map is in announcements. (yup we 'players" don't know that. Reason why in the beginning there were so much replies coz it popped up in your 'Play games"

I've never played risk before this site- so [Classic] is what I know it to be. I don't care what the colors are but the white circles is what's distracting. I've played it several times now and although you can see the amount of armies more clearly- the colors ( blue,green, and gray) are nightmarish. Cost me a couple of games because I couldn't distinguish them from one another.

I love how everyone is pissed off about the changes, but where the heck was everyone when they had the vote on the army circle contrast?
I voted for 50%, it didn't win, deal with it.
If you have time to play a bunch of games, you probably have time to read the forums and see what is actually going on in the "community".

lock and merge... twill already gave the link where this is to be debated. you know you should do it wicked, just because you are on the side of the alleged majority doesn't mean you can shirk your duties as a mod... 2 new threads going on the same thing again, why don't you lock and merge them? this is getting annoying. nobody tried to SILENCE anyone. they simply told everyone where the original debate that they all seemed to miss had taken place, and where it continues to NOW take place. you should all go be constructive in the foundry instead of bitching in the GD...-0
