Conquer Club

I have a question for all those who know about this website. I understand that the dice and the drops are random and I don't consider myself to be a whiner but.....How in the f do you go from sergeant to pfc in 1 day? ? ? How do you go an entire day of playing games and not get a single good dice roll? ? ? I played every rank, a bunch of different maps and all of my game chats and feedback say the same thing...."good player/ had the game/ sorry about the dice/ sorry about the drop/ sorry...sorry....sorry...etc. I don't call losing unfair, I don't mind getting beat by someone that's better than me, it happens all the time but COME ON. There is no way that I can lose the amount of games I lost in the last day and it be random. There is no way that I can continuously attack or defend with DOUBLE the amount of armies of my opponent and lose. Im sure that I'll be labeled a whiner but I believe that if you're going to call this game strategic, it should be somewhat strategic and not a complete farce game after game after game. Im tired of people apologizing to me for the bs drops and dice that I get over and over again. I'd be ok with it happening "randomly" but this absolutely sucks.

One of the good things about Conquer Club is that, if you are a skilled player, your score will hover around the same area (with the occasional dips and rises, of course). I am currently in a losing streak of 14 games and counting. I was a captain and am now a sergeant first class. It just happens like that. Hang in there.

I got no clue to your dilemma except that it happens to me too. I am new here so my frustration isn't as much as yours but it is understandable.

The dice and drops are random, much like Kansas surviving the Final Four in San Antonio this week. The best part of random is that the "this sucks" pedulum will eventually swing back in your favor and your luck will change. Be virtuous when you play... patience. patience, patience.

suck it up cupcake. it happens to all of us at some point. you lost what, 400 points?? so what? perhaps tomorrow you'll win 600, who knows?

in 1 day i lost 400 points by playing public 1v1 games and i was about to go nuts. but i continued playing and i got back my points and then a bit extra. at the end of the day i had ~100 points profit.

If dice are truly random across players, there should be 0 correlation between an individual players change in daily point total, and the point total of the entire site. With all the odd stuff I've seen about dice, someone (who has a stat package) should just test this.

This has been floating around the website for a while, and I think it bears mentioning again in this thread.

Every time I've lost a bunch of points in a day, it's been because I got antsy and joined a bunch of 1v1 speed games in one day. When I play normal games, the dice work out. Sometimes I get hosed, sometimes I win battles that I shouldn't, but overall, I've end up winning a bit more often than "I should".

Thus, I would tend to blame these shitty runs on giving into your addiction and entering a bunch of 1v1 speed games. That, not the dice, is the culprit of your woes.

That would explain it maybe if I'd joined more than 5 speed games out of the 300+ that I've joined.

I appreciate all the opinions.....I'm over it entirely. I am just going to hope that my luck changes as it has very little to do with strategy in my opinion. And as far as my daddy is concerned: I asked for the opinions of those who cared to share them. I'll share one of my own: Those who describe themselves as "the baddest motherfucker in the world" on the internet should go out into the world and test that theory sometime.
