Conquer Club

A lot of threads about the current records and potential Hall of Famers which is great and all but perhaps a thread should be made for those whom, fallen comrades, have quit but were great during their time on CC. For an example- Georgerx7di didn't break any records but was one hell of a player-- great guy to boot.

Maybe we could recognize those players and not current ones.....

I think scott's point was more in recognition of guys who never made it to number one or anything but were excellent players in their own right. So I'd like to give props to a guy that's still around (I think) but who's only playing out the string in a couple of year-long no cards snoozers: my homeboy Mepps.

perhaps I misread Incandenza, but sounds like he meant players that no longer play on CC and have quit but were great?

yes i was Blitz- ty. think Incand is speaking of the same thing though-- Mepps is no longer active (outside of the build up games)

one person I really miss, not a high ranker, but was a very nice guy....wolfpak.

why did i come back so soon?

I could of been in a fallen hero hall of fame.

Exactly. It's like he's on CC life support... not gone but not really here.

stevegriffiths was #14 on the scoreboard back in the day before he started the 512 man tourney and was caught - he was a fantastic player... but his CC addiction got the best of him.

And yes, Scorba was a phenom also ... I think I single handedly contributed to his high score...

George would've definitely been in the top 10 on the scoreboard- one of the best SeqEsc players I've had the privilege to play against.

I just read a bit of the accusation. I cannot and will not believe this shit. Someone please link me to the entire investigation as I am eager to learn more. Wow. I am speechless. If this is true, which I doubt, convicted cheaters are back on this site, No need to name them, we all know who they are. Scott, sorry to get off your post, I just had to vent.

i dunno man, if you look his name up on the scoreboard it does not exist anymore, and ive not talked to him in over a month and a half, and hes not on msn.

but yes, i also dont believe he was a cheat, but who knows.
