Since you asked, I've used BOB from the first time I knew it was around and bloody love the thing. However, I'm not so happy with the latest version. Takes a long time to initialize and is a bit buggy. I'm sure there's a thread somewhere on this but...

It is genius Yeti,
It does have some problems with speed and not loading.. particularly with large troop counts and complex boards.. but i would not do without it.

PS could you please send me a PM to tell me how to leave a poll open to change vote? I tried it but i have not cracked it yet..

I'll mainly load it up for troop counts and territory counts in closer games or build games. Since the addittion of the "wait state" I would not use it in a freestyle game. I'd say I play less than 10% of my games with it... but it's the close ones where I like to have a double check on my counts. Map inspect is also a nice feature... but I don't use that much.

I don't use it, I can win my games on my own, thank you very much.

Don't use it. I don't need help in my games.

the fact that this poll takes place in the forums will get you very misleading results as probably none of those that don't visit the forums also don't use bob. i'd say the overall rate of bob usage is ~10%

Yeah I know that - apparently there are a *few* BOB users who don't come onto the forums though!

This poll is a percentage of forum users that use BOB...

Or - a hard number of people - rather than a percentage of anyone.

why would they? if BooB doesn't do it for them, they have no idea how to do it, and i doubt the gumption to even try ( )... i mean, if they can't be bothered to do thinks like count, and learn maps, why would they bother with wading through the forums? *snicker*... come on yeti!! you know you are still in my war room on the hall of fame right next to happy's diamond encrusted tassles!!!-0

Yeti, Are you thinking of lobbying to make it easier for the masses to get BOB.. so they can add-on without entering the Forums perhaps?

At work i can't use bob. So i have to get my sorry ass home to make my more difficult turns.
Can't really play without bob unless you have pen and paper or an hour to study a map.
