I set up game Game 2279365 hoping to play cooks or cadets, corporals at most, but it seems that Warsteiner joined my game. I am quite shocked and afraid, and uncertain of what to do or how to approach this. Anyone got any helpful hints?

you're in trouble for so many different reasons... one of the biggest ones (aside from the fact that the opposition likes this setting) is that you are playing freestyle and not playing at the same time as your partner. (that is just begging for a whooping)

Look at the game log and study how the other team played the first go; the timing of their plays and the way they passed troops. .. the game is already tough for you to win but you can learn a lot for next time if you watch and study correctly.

Study is all pointless for Freestyle unless you can find a partner you can work with, if you do not have a regular partner who you can play at the same time with, chose Sequential setting instead.

Being the Conquerer doesn't give Warsteiner any magic powers you have to worry about, but he's played a ton of games, is really patient, strategic and has mad skills. Your partner is a Cook who has yet to achieve a victory in fifteen attempts, so this does not look good for your team.

All you can do is give it your best effort and (1) communicate well with your partner and (2) coordinate your moves as well as possible. You've received a decent drop so hang in there, don't be timid (it's RISK after all), take advantage of your placements and make the best of it.

Be relentless, SHOW NO FEAR! and give no quarter.

All i can say is they know what they are doing so watchout. Also you will be losing like 7 points so take this as a chance to win.

and its already been stated but the main thing is talk to your teammate, maybe through some kinda instant messenger if possible. theres always the Live Chat on the left as well. and coordinate a shit load or youre dead

seriously though, the best way to lern is to play better players. who knows, sometime we might rematch and things will be different...

It's a game after all so try and make the best of it and if you get the chance
just grab Warsteiner by the BALLS and squeeze really hard as this tactic
will slow him down a bit and you can outmaneuver him while he's distracted.

Dont worry you will be fine war and dd are a horrible team, and war is horrible at making plans for attacking.
