Deadbeats and deferred deployments...

This rediculous method of strategy has to end!!!

I can sypathize with a missed turn in a speed game, but not in a casual game! Not once, not ever!

If you are too busy to take five minutes out of your day to play your turn in a casual game, please don't play!

Once someone deadbeats, especially with numerous negative comments about same, how are the other players supposed to develope a strategy? Should I attack the active player? Is the deadbeat going to come back? Do I leave myself vulnerable to defending the deadbeat?

By rewarding a missed turn with deferred armies is rediculous and simply ruins every game for the true and honest players.

Take away the deferred deployments and you minimize the deadbeats and cheaters and reward the honest players!!!

it is impossible for a person that deadbeats to get deferred armies. a player isn't a deadbeat until they miss three turns in a row and are tossed out of the game. missing a turn in a casual game is not a big deal and not deadbeating. often times, it can end the game for a player if they are playing against more experienced players. why? their territories will be limited, and the deferred army bonus will be much smaller than what they may have had if they had not missed a turn. it is well within the rules, and what you are describing is not "deadbeating" it is missing a turn. i once rode up on that mighty horse about not missing a turn, and then guess what? i MISSED a turn!!! holy mackeral!!! it happens. at least now, the person gets the armies to place at the end of the turn, and not at the beginning... back then, you would see tons of missed turns for armies... so, learn the basic rules before off spouting about missed turns and deadbeats and what is and is not fair.-0

you have it backwards. removing the deferred armies penalises the honest players.

your suggestion will encourage people to cheat by having someone login as them and take their turns to avoid missing out on those armies.
