What do you think is the hardest type of game to get a win in?

My vote goes for 8 Man Freestyle Escalating Speed games. Your vote?

agreed - 1 on 1 on one of those massive maps far beyond anyone's understanding and time.

6 player, no cards, adjacent forts on Feudal War where all players are competent players that don't go crashing there armies around. I might have to go all diplomatic on their asses.

Feudal is one of those few maps where the best strategy is to go "crashing around"... law of large numbers, and linear lines of attack. That's especially true if you play adjacent fort or even chained... played to conservatively, it can be really tough to get the guys to the front with the autodeploy.

On topic... I can think of a lot of 1v1 that are nearly impossible to win if you take second draw and play unlimited fort no cards. For my money, though, pear harbor is the toughest map I've played...

Any sunny, no cards, standard game with competent players. It's a stalemate, no one ever wins. In other game types, at least there is one winner, so it wasn't hard for that person.

Yeah, it was so tough, they got rid of all the fruits and vegetable bonuses b/c nobody could figure them out, and instead added lots of planes and ships to it and changed the name

no, it rules. if you ever drop below 1400, a few assassins should push you back up again.

8 player with Baldy, Bones, Bruce, Kill, King,Dom and whoever else that doesn't seem to make any bloody mistakes other than dice. Good blockers and all. I don't have speed freestyle experience but seems like if I did that would top it for sure.

they might be tough, but DAMN does it ever feel good to beat them. Those are the games that make me glad I smoke and drink while playing. If I didn't, I'd start shaking so badly during a kill run that I wouldn't be able to click the right spots.

for me - any game with more than 6 players. i suck at them.

8 player freestyles.. nowadays they are practically impossible with scott, prank, poo, and king in them... rarely will i come away with a win but damn does it feel good

8 player (well matched) no cards on simple maps (benelux, classic)
