i can see from your rank that hitting the attack button for each attack is really working out for you.

Not sure if you're joking but I use it pretty damned often. Assuming that my intention is to take a country as opposed to "lean on it", I rarely find much use in bailing out on an attack. If the place was worth attacking, it's worth swinging away as long as you're rolling 3 dice.

Have I been bummed to find out that I lost my ass from time to time? Absolutely, however, it's not like stopping half-way on an attack that I somehow felt I needed to take is much better. If it's an attack that is unimportant enough that bailing out is an option, it probably wasn't worth hitting to begin with.

I'd rather suffer the possibility of a bad outcome rather than spend ridiculoucly huge amounts of time on attacking.

I was pissed when I posted this. I only use Auto, when I have 30, 40,etc...armies. I accidently used it when I had 20v5 and lost 18to2. UUGGGHHH just thinking about it......

I always used it till I got rocked multiple times in a row by it. Then I stopped for a while but now I notice the attack button will usually yield about an equal loss for me as the defender, or a bit less. Sorta like real life. Auto can give you killer dice more often on atacks of 20-10 and such more than bad dice in my experience. So, I don't use it with smaller numbers cause I want to bail out before 3 and use it more with bigger numbers. and I never go for a 6-3 anymore unless I feel it is a need be. I loose more than I win on that one for sure. So before I confuse myself...........yes, and no

for all the reasons above, autoing is the best

I rely on the Force to tell me whether my game is currently in a dice "peak" or "valley". He he he, then I use auto-attack to eat through all the good dice if it's a peak, leaving my opponent with the sh!tty dice, he he he he... otherwise, I roll each attack very slowly to make sure some of the other games on the site can chew up some of the sh!tty dice for me, he he he ... and in the process, the opponent will be drawn into the dark-side of rage and anger ...

Agree with these sentiments.

That isn't always the case though. (as I mentioned in another thread) I had a battle earlier tonight where I attacked with 42 v 20. After loosing 27 to his 14 I decided to end it and wait for a better moment. Conquering was the aim but in the end I had to settle for chipping away.

I only use the auto button when facing a 30+ v 5 or less battle, it just hurts too much to lose a big army when keeping it (and it's threat) is just as important as gaining territories (as it often is).
