If I were to eliminate my own teammate for a strategy, would the teammate still be counted as winning the game at the end or would all the points go to me?

All teammates share the spoils regardless of state at the end of the game.

What yeti says is true. It's often a tactic in dubs and trips escalating games to eliminate your teammate for cards if you can go on a big run.

used to!! just had this one out with my teammate yesterday... guy was deadbeating out of a world game, so i wanted to break all of the bonuses that yellow was going to inherit from his missed turns. we argued, agreed to disagree... then i spent the next round breaking 5 bonuses yellow inherited when blue's armies were given to him. anyway, recent rule change.. not sure how i feel about it yet. have only seen it twice now...-0
