Missing Turns Limit

I tried looking for this topic recently but didn't find it, so I apologze in advance if it's been here before.

I've been playing for a year but mostly between a group of people using private games. I've recently started playing more games at a time and have been getting into some public games. I'm in a game now with two people where one of the prople missed all three turns in a row and was kicked out and the other missed two turns and then placed his deferred amries in a spot to win. I've read why the board creators let people have deferred armies [to still give people an incentive to play if they miss a turn] and I can understand missing a turn once in a while, but how would you go about getting the rules changed from 3 missed turns and you're out to 2. I can see missing one turn, but when you got multiple people missing mupltiple turns, it's impossible to know how/where to play. Getting deferred armies after two turns is unfair and pretty much sucks for the rest. I know you can leave negetive feedback but there are so many new players that you end up losing games just finding out who the slackers are. Any thoughts on 2 misses and you're out???

I never posted in the forum before. I see this was read 15 times but no replies but it is shaded gray instead of red like all of the others, so I'm just testing to see if it can be replied to. If not, what did I do wrong in posting?

I figure:

1st one is on real life............

2nd is on me.......................................................

3rd you forfeit with a fee of you wasting my time.....................

I wonder if this would stop dead beating.................

either he was going to win anyway or you incorrectly assumed he won't be back. so is your problem that he outplayed you or that he outplayed you.

it only sucks if you are a shit player. decent players break the bonuses before the missed turn player returns.

you can't give a neg for missing 2 turns. that's the rules.

you should be called captain asshole. how about you give me a list of every game where all the other players miss two turns so you, of course as a great player, knew where to go to stop the player who is actually going to catch his third turn and can place his extra men anywhere on the board. breaking a bonus only helps a little depending on how many men he has on the board to get extra men from even. i quess posting a question will always bring out the 'great ones' who reply with sarcasm instead of anything useful. i am humbled by your insite.

never mind him, the rules are the rules so you just have to plan ahead. assume they are cheats or even worse bad players and play to beat them in that way. i almost never play out private games for such reasons. far to many bad sports and childish players to be worth the trouble. i play for fun not to be pissed all night over some guy i will never even know.
