Conquer Club

I am new to this site and really like what's happening here. I've been playing this game for twenty plus years and always knew there was a community out there but not until I got here did I actually realise the scope of it.

First things first, I signed up for a game (my very first) that had yet to begin and the next day was in a car accident that almost killed me. I will be in hospital for awhile, unable to get to a computer to play and that devastates me. A very good friend of mine has been kind enough to transcribe this for me and send it out to this community.

I would like to apologise to all the other people involved in that game for messing up your stuff (can I curse on this board?) and assure you that when I am able I am reliable to the f*u*k*i*n* core. Anyway, I won't wank off about the beauty or pure logic of the game or even the incredible maps that people have produced but I will reiterate the deep feelings of sadness that I feel by not participating in a game that necesitates full participation by all involved.

This is a game played by most with emotion, by a few with simple passion and by the best with logic and cunning. If I'm accepted back, I can't wait to fight. I thank you in advance for your patience.

Well, I hope you heal fast. And, although I don't know you, I'm glad you survived the crash. Hope your healing is short and painless You are not the first new person to "deadbeat" so to speak. Most who do, I suspect, don't have as compelling a reason as you do.

Get well and get back in the game. You've only had the one game here
and half of the players in it deadbeat, so you'll be ok on this end.

Boho... Jeez. You're not the first, nor the last, guy who has ever deadbeated a game. Get over it.
