I'm relatively new to this site and since joining so many games are joined by players who have no intention of playing, what gives. I have witnessed players starting a game and never joining in, this is sad. What do you think? By the way this site rocks, totally the best game site on the net.

yeah, it happens ... some folks just aren't as into it as others ... some have things that pop up in real life ... and sometimes new recruits start games and never come back... after you are here for a bit and play a bunch of games you'll see an improvement ... Just the way it is i guess

Yep, understand what your saying there, things happen. Still if 1 player doesn't play that means that 72 hours are just wasted by everyone else. Especially when you log in to make sure you don't miss a turn. Should the rules be changed and that if you miss 2 turns consecutively your out, just interested what others think.

This is why have feedback, yes. To see if you want to join a game. I personally don't want to play against people who are not trying their best to win. So when joining a game in the future I want to play with people who join in. Good luck with the dice

well it's kinda a touchy subject ... three consecutive gets you kicked ... it's been beat to death about missed turns and stuff.. if you go search the suggestions forum you'll see all the threads about missing turns and things of that nature .... the way it is now is kinda a happy medium ... it keeps both parties slightly upset but at the same time slightly happy lol if you catch my drift !

A happy medium is hard to find, They tend to be found sitting in darkened rooms, sometimes with a crystal ball. However, they can help predict whether you are going to win or not as well, that's why I bought myself one. Sits in one of the servants old rooms, curtains drawn, telling me when to roll the dice and when not to. I would recommend you find a happy medium quick.

good idea. I have to do that, Maybe people who miss a certain amount of games in a row get a PM, and if they answer it in say, a year, to give them lots of time, they keep going? Would this be a good idea?

I don't know but I think take away a players missed turn armies and it might make it so they don't miss turns so much, by giving them their armies after a missed turn you are rewarding them for missing 1-2 turns by giving them a larger army. there should also be a concede button that way when a foe is totaly out gunned he can just concede the game (still lose points) instead of dead beat. I have had that happen to me was winning then the guy just stopped showing up so I had to wait 3 days to get the win. checking back and making my plays every day.
