Review of games played on the top of the scoreboard show that most are getting points from team play, esp. freestyle, or speed games , or special maps. I'm just curious to find out who most people consider is or was THE best on a standard classic map, either 1v1 or in a multiplayer game....who is most feared...who IS #1?

If you want to know who's the best at multi-player singles, just check the win % of the top players. The lower it is, the larger their average game tends to be. You can be pretty sure that anyone on the first page with a % of less than 50, doesn't play many team games.

Start by looking at the players on the 1st page that are under 30....
under 30 percent, that is...

then sift out the freestyle and the terminator players, and report back....

yes,m'aam looks like pzaviski2003 ,is quite formidable....skillerman in speed games and Rashidjelzin in freestyle....does this seem reasonable, based on everyone's past history with these players?

I'm not a big number guy. Basically I'm retarded... I have played mostly single player games.746 games over 700 are single player games. I just recently started playing more Terminator and Assassin games. So is my 20% win rate good?

Yes,it's good if you play 7 and eight player games, where the average win rate is 12-15 %. No, if you play 1vs1 games, where 50% is average...

as of rite now im the most skilled but that could change

I have defeated 33 opponents in my last 6 games, without a loss.

Agreed, and you're winning your cuurent NYC game. Is there anyone you're afraid to play, or who was the best you beat?

I have finished 2601 terminator games on classic & I have finished 1279 Standard games on classic. I only have a win 31% win. of The players who play in these games with me there are about 15 who I believe are better than I. They do not win all the time but they consistently win putting their points on open games against all comers, and stay at the rank of Captain or Major.

I consider Captain,Major, & a few Colonels the Fighting best of the best.

I am not sure that overall % really matters that much. What matters is whether the person you are playing is good at the particular game type you are playing.

You also have to realize that few people are consistantly completely good ...even the best have "off" days.

This makes sense....earning your points by fighting rather than protecting/shielding/hording them, like many on page 1. Can you name some of your top 15, that you played?

interesting question, I'm on the list and play many players listed frequently, I consider pazaviski, Steve066, RL Orange, Joecoolfrog, Paddy the Cat, Seulessliathan the best that i play on a reg basis, but there are some other top players that i haven't had the pleasure of losing to...or haven't played enough to know them as well and name them. The trait that most of these players have is a patience to wait til the game develops to launch their attacks, not to waste their armies foolishly in the early rounds, they also all block well so as to prevent you from taking another opponents cards. everybody on the list is a top player and on any given day can win that's for sure...

Usually 4 to 6 player games. 7 or 8 depending on the map. I never play 1 on 1 games. Not enough points.

BUT, a quick browse of your games, Owen, shows NO individual games in over 2 months...maybe the 3 opponents you mentioned aren't generals, but they do often play individually and win....

Rashidjelzin is only on the topc because of his clickable maps, so are many more as well.
