sorry to post it in here.
This game had a connection bug: Game 2508126
I cashed 40 armies that never placed, and lost the game, appreciate if the results of that game are cancelled.
thanks

Sorry, General K, but that's part of playing a speed game. You took longer than your allotted 5 minutes, so your turn ended. Any men not placed at the end of your turn will be lost. Better luck next time.

Actually it looks like he lagged out because he cashed then 3 minutes later he ran out of time

I cashed 4 minutes before time out... and placed.... and waited for confirmation that never came... room lagged so I left and rejoined only to find that my turn was over and the 40 armies dissapeared!
all other web sites were running except this server! I tell you it's a bug!

Even if the site had a little lag, or his computer did, still nothing that'll be done. Sorry. If you get the "wait 10 seconds" message or anything hangs up, it's best to not just sit there for 3 minutes, but to actually leave the game page immediately and come back in.

The mods won't do shit for the users. Customer service hasn't spread to the part of the world where they reside. They don't give a f*ck about you man. Just eat the points and move on.

It came to my attention today, that even if a game is deleted (which this one won't be), the points remain the same.

Not true - our game deletion script reverses any points exchanged. But we won't delete the game because one player had a poor connection and couldn't complete his/her turn.

This thread is very amusing. I can just picture our model of the modern Major General (K) staring at his screen for three minutes, waiting for it to load; or better yet, clicking "Wait another 10 seconds" 18 times, and then screaming incomprehensibly (or perhaps, quoting the fights historical, from Marathon to Waterloo, in order categorical) when he found out he'd lost the armies, and the game (and his dignity).

It's a good thing I like knowing the truth. Otherwise, when I was corrected, I'd be pissed about being wrong, rather than pleased to be more knowledgeable.

Calm down man, it is frustrating when you end up missing a turn, but it's also not the worst thing that could ever happen. So what, you missed a turn and lost 1 game because of it? You would think that someone with a score like yours (a major when I just looked...it may have been higher) that you would be able to make the points up quickly. Just get back out there and win another game.
