Those are the rules of a terminator game. If someone eliminates this player before the end of the game, they get cards and points. If the player is not eliminated until the end of the game, whoever wins gets the points.

When a player gets kicked out from a terminator game people still in the game have a chance to gain that users points and cards. they just have to do it before the game ends. Reason being was people were deadbeating to get out of losing points when they were already losing. When they were deadbeating they didn't lose any points.

Now you have a chance to use his deadbeating to your advantage. He cannot attack you, his cards and points are there for the taking.
