Account babysitting - tournaments

If someone is away for more than a few weeks, can they still have someone babysit their ongoing games for them, and more to the point, can they get someone to babysit their tournament games: i.e., can the babysitter join the tournament games for them using their id during their absence (assuming the tournament organizers know about the babysitting and would rather have a fill in go forward than have to round up another reserve player mid-stream??) (and obviously assuming the babysitter is not in the same tournaments...)

Seems to me the rule about babysitting a players "games" is unclear on this point... is it just current games that are in progress on date X, or does it include future tournament games that the player may qualify for or which may be set up as part of an ongoing tournament that the player entered into prior to the absence??

Thanks for the clarification...

as far as i understood it was fine for babysitters to join tournament games. but not to create their own games.

banana is correct. Babysitters may not join games unless it is a tournament game. Babysitters cannot create games.
