Hello all,
I have been playing on CC for not too long but I have a question. Is there some kind of skill or strategy that gives you a chance at winning even when your dice suck? I have recently ran into a long streak of loosing dice and wonder what the best way to counter it is...ie better strategy etc.

Try playing bigger maps with more bonuses. Also cards games might counter that.

If you think you have enough armies, wait a few extra turns and get even more. More armies is always better.
Also, use the regular attack button instead of auto-attack. That way, if you get a few bad rolls, you can stop and still save the rest of your army. with auto, if the dice go bad, your whole army is gone.

Ah yes I have noticed when I click auto attack I get a bunch of bad rolls! that should help. Thanks for the advice. Keep it coming!

avoid stalemates (fighting with another player and not getting anywhere) and always elimnate weak players and take their cards whenever you can in escalating games

Generally speaking, you'll want to pursue moves that can succeed even with mediocre dice. If you ever find yourself saying, "Boy, I'll need bitchin' dice to pull this off," you may want to reconsider (there are exceptions of course).

i'd say the best advice so far has been wca's because i used to press auto-attack all the time and get boned

Only in cards and teams.

In no cards, no one bothers you and no one expects you to attack when you have the lower troop counts on the map. If you don't have the responsibility to balance the game (i.e., attack), and not worth it to take you out, then the dice can't do much to you.
