i always use the small maps, unless i'm learning a map and am trying to figure out where they
connect etc... for those of us that don't use cheat scripts, it is helpful to be able to enlarge the
maps from time to time...-0

p.s.-can we start a forum rule that you can't start more than one thread a day if you:
1.-don't have a valid drivers license, and 2.-still have a curfew?

try to keep your ENTIRE post on topic there owen. no need to get in cheap shots/borderline flames at the end. your attempts to derail threads aren't going unnoticed and will result in a timeout if they continue.

I voted small. Lack had a stat way back when saying that something like over 90% of people use small.

Large maps at work.

Small maps at home.

(I use a laptop - it's plugged into a monitor with decent res at work)

That being said - there are a couple of maps that I use on Large always - i.e. Ireland.

I also hit F11 before I take a turn to make my screen a bit bigger. That helps w/o having to scroll down as much to attack. I know there's script options to take care of that, but they annoy me so haven't used them.

that is fascinating yeti!! i agree... i'm on a laptop but without an external monitor connected. if i go large, i can't double check my attacks, etc, before i hit the attack button... and since work is my home and my laptop is my work computer, i am running small about 99% of the time...-0

p.s.-thanks for the friendly words wicked, and the enjoyable PM that i can watch float to the bottom of my inbox!! nice to know that friendly ribbing between two foes that talk in pm's about all things cc related and beyond is not tolerated!!!

Small is better cause you can take in everything in one look... but I've got to say that I have become very dependent on map inspect... even when I use large map, it seems I'm seeing lots of three / four boundary points, and you can't really tell whether they all attack each other or not.
My ever constant two last games seem to have no end in sight!

Wow... does everyone here just have ancient monitors? Or do you all play on your cell phones? I'd use small maps if I were still running Windows 95 on my old CRTs, but since I'm not.... bigger is better.

I think it's time to lock it up mods. Click those buttons! Stop everyone from having a laugh! Boring conversations that don't branch from the original intent are the norm!

first, mr. baldy, i must say that i use small maps, because i'm on my laptop all the time. secondly, i agree with you. a friendly bit of inside joking in this thread merited a warning for me (drifting to the bottom of my inbox unread, as usual), and a hefty roll of my eyes for the mod. this latest attempt to sanitize the GD
is fascinating and simply misguided. people are answering ParadiceCity15's post, and having a bit of a go with some jokes... oh no!!! flaming!!! flaming!!! last time i ventured into flame wars, it was a bunch of f-bombs and people calling other people fat... wow... i didn't see any name calling or bad words in this thread! i saw some clever comments that made us all giggle. some people are taking this all too seriously... anyway, on topic, and a reply to the great bald ones comment. send me another warning if you wish. the last one is already half down the page, and i could use one to replace it..-0

Since the OP doesn't seem to want to continue his thread and attempts to derail have been successful, in more ways than one, this is locked. If you want random conversations, head to the Chatter box.
