I've only played 4 games on it but it ROCKS! Prepare to keep seeing me and that map 1v1 pop up in 'Join Speed Games'!

Age of Merchants
DiM did a fantastic job reinventing CC strategy.

WWII western front
it's small and great for 1v1 matches, the strategy comes easy to me, and it's where i won my first game

AoR Magic
So many strategies, you get a very different game every time you play.

Arms Race
To attack is human, to nuke is divine.
(to bust thru the 15 and bombard without the nuke, well now that's just cheeky)

Atlantis and Coleseum Wars.

Their not out yet, but the player which has seen the idea know how good they are:P

i've gotten most of my points from there and i've won 59% of them! i really like it and its fun

I won a 1v1 earlier today by doing that.
I owned USA, he owned USSR, he was getting more bonuses than me and was getting close to earning the +50, so I deploy on USA Warhead and bombard every one of his bonuses

easy win.

Classic because it makes sense and no other map has come close to equaling it. No legend, no special secrets - just a map that everyone can play with no real special understanding of weird maps.

I actually suck on it (as well as on other AoS maps), but I still love it and gladly play it

Feudal War for the win!!!
Whoever takes the first turn is unimportant: perfect 1v1 map. Also great no matter how many you have.
So many different ways people play it, it's always an exciting game.




Plus I mop the floor with people on it...

King of the Mountain.

Because the kings and helipads add another dimension to the play.
(also because I win a lot)

Good bonus' to get for team games

I disagree with u all here really; most of the maps you mention are flawed (apart from Feudal maybe), in 1v1 mode

Aor Magic - the winner is the one lucky enough to get the resource pairs quickly#
Aor Merchants - the winner is the one lucky enough to gt Pirate Cove

i like the way you think

following the same logic here are more maps:

classic - the winner is the one with a good drop in australia or south america
world 2.1 - the winner is the one that goes first and has some good dice quickly
doodle - the winner is the one that is lucky
and since you mentioned feudal - the winner is the one that starts the game and gets a bonus quickly

holy crap this is a revelation. in ALL maps the winner is the one with the better drop or if the maps are conquest (aor or feudal) the winner is the one with better dice.

great job kemmler i suggest you go tell lack to ban all 1v1 games in light of this whole new perspective

Definitely not. Have a look at benjikat's games. 84% playing first, and rarely goes after Pirate's Cove. Often wins because the other player wasted their turn taking it.

Not possible yet cause me and Seamursk is still devolping them. The Game is amazing were now fixing the graphics before posted in on the Map Foundry.

new world, cause its an exploration of domination-able proportions.

I love Aor 1 becasue I can win on it and it is nice to look at in my opinion

Yeah... graphically definitely the best maps alongside Cairns... absolute amazing twists of the real Risk game

and you don't have to go first in 1v1 to win.
