" appearing offline "
Posted: Wed Jun 25, 2008 5:19 amI was just wondering if there is a setting somewhere that can make you " appear offline ". ?
I have been noticing in the speed games a player is showing offline, misses two turns, seems to not be a threat, and takes his third turn.....still showing " offline "
they are pretty much left alone, posing a non threat.
I have asked during game chat how they are playing without being online and have, of course, been ignored. If this is something they are doing on purpose, it seems kind of sneaky.
I have seen at least 3 different players do this almost every speed game, so it seems to be a definate tactic.
