So yeah I do after one game... but that's all anyone needs to tell, considering your a private, if I played you and you made a lot of mistakes I'd prolly give you average ratings and just think to myself that you really stink[/color]... But if you got better and I played you again then I'd change my mind right away... I say one game is plenty to tell how someone plays... Now, under circumstances where my opponent is really good but the dice REALLY hate him then if I can see they just lost due to the dice I don't make any judgements...
Especially considering your rank is the
lofty corporal ... eh

So my question to everyone else is: do you judge other people on one or two games? Or do you refuse to make judgments at all?
First, anyone leaving a wall posting like that is probably worthy of ignoring (oops --- foeing, though I felt the term "ignore" more accurate). Beyond that, I don't rate skill. I find that the overwhelming majority (a few exceptions, but not many) who put huge stock in that are not the best players themselves and, generally, are just plain bad sports -- the kind who would rather attack someone else than criticize their own play/actions.
Next, to answer your question, I give an OVERALL rating unless I have only played one game. Initially, I give a "base" or "tentative" rating based on the one game. Usually it will be a 4 or 5 for attitude, unless you are a grouch. Usually a 5 for attendance unless you miss turns or such. If you say nothing, I tend to leave attitude blank. BUT, if I play a few games, I will adjust accordingly. Almost always, that means an increase.
Also, I am more forgiving of the "small stuff" -- be it a missed turn or two or a grouchy episode, if I have played several wonderful games with someone. I judge OVERALL performance, not single game performance.
