Symbols to the right of people's names...

What are those symbols that are now appearing to the right side of people's names? I can't click on them so i have no clue what they are for...

They're for the Map Rank greasemonkey script if you have that to show who you have defeated for each medal. Be sure to read up on the threads for any scripts you have installed, especially when they're updated.
