I voted others, feel the most important thing is teh community. If there wasn't a community I probably wouldnt be here.

1. making maps
2. meeting interesting people
3. playing risk

I can have a fun game winning or losing if the people I play are reasonably nice, (thankfully the overwhelming majority of CC players qualify).

I can wish I were elsewhere if I am playing a jerk or someone who might normally be decent, but is in a "complaining mood". I come here to escape, not to prove how "good" I am ... I get that in real life. This is entertainment, pure and simple. Awards can be fun, make interesting goals, but it is about FUN!

Real life.

I think overall skill and attitude. I play here for the game and try to have a good time doing it. If someone messes up the game and acts like an ass... then I don't want or need to play with them

i think participation weather it is playing a game or just helping some one out thats all that maters

anyway, i enjoy the people i've met on here and the people that i already knew that got me to first play. hanging out and chatting for a portion of the day on skype or msn or aim or whatever, is fun in it's own way.. and there is nothing like the sensation of blitzaholic hitting you up on yahoo asking, "BIG 0, wanna play a few games?", and then 30 games later wondering what the hell you have gotten into again...-0

I vote for making maps, making friends, and playing an awesome game.

Voted on skill of a player. That alone can depend on whether or not you encounter an enjoyable game.

I would say attitude is the most important thing.
