so what happens when you go back to non premium

I have 15 games ongoing at the moment my premium is up on the 11th I won't be renewing I take it my 15 games continue as normal and I just can join anymore.

The dice are really annoying me I know it's bad luck but when you aren't enjoying the game anymore due to freaky rolls (in either direction) then it's time for a break. I play Terminator esc so when there's 50 armies to be had for winning a 6-1 attack then losing it's harder to take than suiciding into someone on standard match.

Anyway do my 15 games continue in the meantime? :?

Very much agreed - I think one of the most dissatisfying parts of this site are due to the fact that the dice are so streaky - I would actually prefer it to be more consistent and less randomized considering the fact that the dice rolls are already pre-made/reused. Things such as losing 11v1 wouldn't exist in the 500,000 dice being recycled, etc. (when auto attacking where it pulls all the rolls from the list in a row).

The mere fact that losing an 10 v 1 should happen about 1/10000 times tried, and I've lost it already like 4x in the past 2 months... I'm not playing THAT many games btw. I would take losing 10 v 1 from the entire script, it's utterly ridiculous (lost 7v1 + 4v1 also earlier today, although the odds there are slightly different than the actual 11 v 1, slightly worse I guess).

to try to move the conversation away from dices:
So, for those that arent renewing who want to get the fullest out of their premium year, it would be a good idea to join the limit of 50 games just before expiry.
Right?

I hear you Bob, my membership is up end of August.... and the dice annoy the hell out of me. Impossible rolls are achieved ''Only'' on Conquer Club

Suffice to say i will not be renewing either, along with at least a dozen other players who have told me they have had enough!! :)

Regards

SK

p.s. You could start a 100 games, and you can finish em all ;)

i just renewed, and looking forward to renewing in a year... i dont seem to have these problems, because 1) i don't auto attack, 2) i don't use Clickable Maps, 3) i know when to stop attacking, 4) i pretty much just kick ass... so, i greatly enjoy reading all the dice threads, because they don't apply to me. don't renew, and enjoy your 4 games at a time, like you did before you were premium... perhaps you should start trying other types of settings on this site that eliminate the need to auto attack and/or use clickable maps, which seem to be the root of most of the complaints.. anyway, i love the dice and i love conquer club!!-0

So you would like the dice to be non-random? That would be great. Then we can all run around complaining that the dice aren't random. Can you imagine all the threads that would appear if the dice weren't random? Everybody who lost 2 or 3 rolls in a row would come complain about how the dice aren't random. Random.org is as random as it gets. It is not streaky, it is not anything. It is just as random as it can get, aside from hiring 500 Chinese kids to sit around rolling dice all day.

Yes, random means you can get those 1/10000 rolls happening 4 times in a row, or a month, or a year, or perhaps you'll never get that particular roll your entire lifetime. That is the meaning of random folks. In the end (and by that I mean when infinity ends, so em... not an actual date or anything...) every type of roll will happen exactly as often as it is supposed to. And in the mean time, give it more than 4 rolls you think you remember in a month before deciding the dice suck. Look at anybody that has been running a dice analyzer for a good period of time and there you go, proof that things are about right. And because infinity hasn't ended yet they shouldn't be perfect, FYI.

And even auto-attack is fine. DiM and somebody else who I can't remember (sorry) went and proved that auto-attack isn't sticky. And why would it be? I'm sure most/all of the tests on random.org were performed in one or more mass calling of numbers. They showed up random. It just sucks more to see a bunch of 0-2s at once than one at a time.

yeah, auto-attack is fine, if you don't mind ending up with 3 armies facing 4 or 9 or even a 1. i just prefer to count my losses and keep a decided and tactical advantage for my next turn, instead of auto-attacking and blowing my wad all over sakha...-0

Oh, right. I actually started that post before you posted. I was just venting about complaints about dice in general. Sooner or later somebody brings up the auto-attack thing. I actually usually don't use auto attack myself for exactly the reason you mentioned.

You just can't join any more games/speed games. I think somebody already said that and it just got lost amid the venting. 8-[

And are you really trying to stop the brilliant thread hijacking going on here? Come on now, that's the best part of the forums. ;)

And Sully just fast posted my edit.

thanks for the replies guys MOD can you now close the thread before it has to me moved to flamewar.

I won't be starting anymore I'm taking a break from it all for a few weeks/months until I start enjoying it again.

Only got 12 ongoing now.

Only reason I might stay premium is to play doubles standard which is enjoyable.

As to owenshooter if you play terminator you have to "go for it" at some point. When 6 players have 4 cards and you are up at 45 armies per turn in if you don't go for it the game is over before your next turn. This is when statistically you should win but more times recently I've been getting rolls that were too weird for words, also auto roll is there due to having 45 v 12 I'm not going to start clicking each time just on the off chance that I get bad rolls.

Enjoyed the games guys and will still be playing just not as often.

J

Mods please close the thread don't want another arguement over the dice and my question is answered.

=D>

This just is not true ... for one thing, just multiply the number of active members (roughly 20,000 right now) by a minimum average of 3 TURNS a day , with 2 rolls a turn (VERY low) and you will get 120,000 rolls a day ... and those figures are EXTREMELY low.

So, a 1 in 500,000 event is quite likely to happen every 5 days. A 1 in 1,000,000 event every 2 weeks .... etc.

BUT this has all been covered QUITE well in other threads.

Per the original question, thanks for asking. I am hoping to renew, but if I can't ... its just good to know!

Premiums should get a +1% better luck then freemiums.

well, since it was answered in the first four responses, the conversation is kind of taking on it's own

I live in fear of the Ministry. They will be there watching us, to make sure we stay 'on topic', never allowing an idea to just grow and move under its own evolvement...that would be too much for the powers who watch us, and if it does, we are then visited by the Ministry 'Thought police'. Fear these visits friends, for they are only for the purpose of ensuring you stay 'On Topic'. if you don't, then room 101 awaits.

You have been warned.

Might I suggest those who like to take conversations in random direction go visit the forum we have specifically set up for that purpose? I'll give you a hint, it's not this one! Locked at the request of the OP.
