Conquer Club

As I have worked diligently up through the ranks, from time to time, I have stumbled across those who have placed me on their foe lists.

Now I find yet another so called 'senior' player has put me on their list. Not because he/she was offended by my talk (I rarely do except the obligatory nod in the direction of the oppos) or anything else of this nature.

It is becoming obvious to me that there are some players on this site in desperate need of searching for a spine and putting it where their backbone should be, so in honour of them I thought perhaps a thread NOT naming, but showing how lame some players really are.

So what's your story? I have 2.

The most recent was when I tried to join a team game only to be told I was 'foe'd' by one of the players. Through my contacts I asked them to find out why....the response came back:
he was kicking my ass and i needed a little break, will take off in a bit
How lame is that?

Another was, in its own way, even worse. This player was actually joining my teams on triples games I had set up, enjoying the points harvest, winning as we did, and saying very little. I thought something was up when they never responded to a couple of questions during the various games. It only came to my attention after this run of games that this particular lowlife actually had me as a foe!!!! So here he/she was, teaming up with me, but never allowing me to take them on!!! How lame is that? More to the point, how slimy is that?
Slime count 9/10 I think.

Now, I will not name and shame, they know who they are, and as runts, they will surely be insignificant enough to be suffering through a massive lack of 1) Backbone and 2) Character.

Anyone else have any stories to tell? Remember...no names!

oh i had a funny one once, i just looked through my foe list - saw this note: "stupid idiotic fukin twat" attached to their name, i remembered instantly.

Here goes the story...

We were in a Feudal War speed game, sequential, dubs, foggy - the usual. I was in barb, he was in RoM. I asked him i he didn't mind if i took the attacking role. He said ok sure! So, on round 2 - he deployed on himself (in RoM) and tried to break his 10 neutral with 6 armies. Surprisingly, he was able to - and come off with enough men to take Fol. When i asked him why he didn't listen to me and he did a...noob move...he just said that that is how you win, then spoke in CAPITALS to tell me how stupid i was to question him. I calmed down, then said, "fine, you can be the attacker - i dont mind, but please dont make decisions like that without asking me." To which he responded "You fucking idiot i dont need to ask you when i can or cant do a move", which is fair, but not good teamwork. I carried on supplying him, to which he didnt like - no idea why. I deployed on him each turn, telling him to build up armies. He didnt, of course. He then announced to our opposition on purpose, something like 'OMG my parnter is so stupid, he is in barbarian territories and is just sitting there.' i asked him why he said that, then he announced to our enemies again, 'HE IS SUCH A NOOB, HE ISNT DOING ANYTHING'. He then said in team chat; why arent you breaking out - youre so stupid. i said; because you are the attacker, i support you. He got mad at that aswel. Tosser. He then tried to suicide on a player, having great dice - he didnt do anything with that. Then, after he ruined the game for me, and made the other team have a little laugh, he tried to old guilt trick...YOU KNOW WHY THE f*ck IM PLAYING ON CC, ITS BECAUSE THERES NOTHING ELSE TO DO IN AFGAN.
And that was supposed to make us all feel guilty. It is not our fault that he chose to be in the army, or got called out.
This player is such an annoying little shit, he is foed for life

I got one.On a certain day I kept joining games with a good friend of mine who I have met in the RW.
We played 5 or more games(4 to 6 playergames). I won every single one.When I won the last he informed me that I am going on his foe list for the rest of the day,because he wants to win at least one game.I won't say who it was,but he has a similar name to myself only the Sirius part is missing.

I think that would turn into a serious FW thread before too long Scott...

As most know, I play mostly singles... of late I've tried to broaden my horizons playing triples- a game I've begun to enjoy. I put two teams together and joined 7 preset HIGH RANK TEAMS to see how we would match up against stiff competition. With a little luck we managed some victories although I was disappointed in 1 game where we made a mistake and it cost us the game. Mind you- I didn't low ball their team. Our combined rank a tleast matched theirs and even exceeded theirs ( in 3 matches it exceeded them by quite a bit even before one of their teammates got a reset). I know- I know no names.

Turns out this teammate of his/hers didn't like to get beat up by a team that has barely played triples together. Went to go play some more matches because one of our teammates was quite excited that we did so well. And of course to find out if it was a fluke that we almost blanked them or not and to give them a shot at their points back. IGNORED- LMAO

This is in no way disrespectful to his his other partners but man what a GREAT shame- considering he is a [triples specialist]. I suppose he only likes to setup against noobs.
