I find it annoying when people put me on their foe list, just because they're on mine. It doesn't make sense. That's a completely illegitimate reason for foeing someone.

p.s. -- Yes, I know I did this to someone, but I foed that person because of the fact that they foed me, not because I'm on their foe list.

^^Think about it, it makes sense.

Thats a funny statement.I take it you are joking.I do not find the foe list funny at all so I am laughing inside.

This is satire. But whom is it directed against? Is it actually directed against anyone in particular or rather at people in general? Questions abound and no answers in sight.

Well, it just happened to me, but I'm not directing it at that person, because that wouldn't be cool. So I guess it's directed at the public.

but, if you foed them, they why do you care if you are on their foe?

I don't care if I'm on their, it's just the fact that they put me on there because they were on mine which is dumb.

Why would they want to let you join their games, when they know they can't join yours?

If you put someone on your foe list, you are declaring that you don't want to play with them ... why would they want to play with you? Most people want pleasant games, they don't want to play with people who have declared their dislike, which is what a foe list does.

this thread is absolute rubbish and makes no sense. i can't even wrap my mind around any portion of his argument that could possibly pass as logical. if i read that OP one more time, my brain may just fall out onto my laptop... it just hurts to try and figure out what sort of person comes up with this sort of stuff.. i am truly confused...-0

I am the person in question. Last night paradice city sent me a PM asking me why he was my foe and I agreed to remove him. I always foe people who put me on their foe list. If I cannot join any games they are in, why should they have the right to join games that I am in?

Now that we all know paradicecity's thread is about me, watch as everyone changes their opinion on the validity of his opening post.

Not really - by foeing someone you're prohibiting them from joining any games you're in. The only downside for them doing it in return to you would be you not being able to join their games - which in turn why would you want to join anyways? There's a reason you foed the person.

how is it "ILLEGAL"? you can put whomever you want on your foe list, for whatever reason you choose. please show me the statute of the law that this action infringes!!! "against the law"? this is getting even more ridiculous. some people don't want to play games against you, deal with it. i know people that have you on their foe list because of your posts in the GD and they have never even played you. does that seem fair? nope, it isn't, but they can do it!!! it is THEIR foe list. now, enjoy your time out for your flaming...-0

Lets just leave it at any one can put anyone on Foe list for any reason. But I will state I have no one on my FOE list. Which was the old ignore list.

I believe owen also has no one on his ignore list which could mean his foe list.

But even as I have no one on mine I defend the right of all to use it as they SEE fit.

totally agree.. now can you come back as a mod and throw down some street justice for me?!! anyway, i think the foe list is a ridiculous tool, but i respect everyone's right to use it as they will. i just choose to play anyone that wants to play me whenever they want to take me on. i think the foe list is abused, but what can you do about it? i find it ridiculous that one player thinks another players use of the foe list is incorrect or "illegal", just because they use it differently. why use it at all? and if you do use it, you can't really complain about how others use it!!! and you surely can't call people a-holes for stating valid opinions about silly subjects... oh wait, i guess he got away with that one...-0

Ahh street justice. No sir I am not a street justice kind of guy. It may be taken care of privately. Or it may not. I edited it as I found out about it & posted it where needed.

I think the Foe List is good for drowning out all the useless posters around here. That's about the only use I can find for it.

Not illegal. Poor word choice. I was looking for not fair at all, not right, stuff like that. And I didn't say that about being foed I said it about "not having the right to join his games."
