Is it against the rules to fish for ratings?

Well, it is a type of abuse here, but probably not enough to get you banned if that's what you're asking about.

No, i'm not asking if it will get you banned. I'm just asking becuase i've seen lots of people who does it.. and got to think about if it was against CC rules to do so.

yup i think u can do it but i think it is kinda a sucky way to get good rating

Actually i take it back Moose! it seems that the mods will now enforce overt and blatant fishing.

I have not seen an official rule change yet .. but i would imagine there will be one once they have it formulated and worded correctly.
