So i haven't played 2-player games in a while because i haven't had such great luck with them lately. It seemed that all the bad breaks went to me so after losing a few hundred points earlier this year i decided to take a break from the 2-player games. I played a lot of bigger games. But the other day i decided to play a couple more 2-player games to gain a dozen points or so. But what do you know i lose 4 more in a row, and i can promise you that it wasn't because i had bad strategy. I realized that i have lost 7 straight 2-player games and am soooooo frustrated and am taking it out AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD and FRUSTRATED and TICKED and Pi$$ed I HATE THIS GAME RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!

The umps gave 'em as much help as they could too, but at least this game had some drama...

I'm fairly happy actually. Just filled my belly with some Chinese buffet and the fortune cookie told me that my good qualities outweigh my bad. It didn't say by how much, but the cookie just met me so what does it know?

I get pissed off when the dice just seem to make sure you cannot win a game.

We are playing a team game right now, triples. Teams started with 63 armies each on the board. Since then the incomes have been 35 to us, 29 to them. This means a total credit of 98 to us, 92 to them.

Presently there are 38 of our armies on the board, 65 of theirs. In total we have lost 60 armies in dice rolling to their 27. We took the bonus first, we had larger stacks (wiped out by far smaller numbers in attack) we even manouvred in a more strategic fashion. In fact, most of their armies have not even moved off the points of origin.

I know there are so many threads about this, and we are already bracing ourselves for a large points loss as it is obvious they will win, no matter what we do (1 stack of 17 was wiped by just 6 of their attackers with nil loss)....but the question is...Anyone else pissed off besides me?!?!?!?!...well the answer is yes. Once again the dice on this site have proven that strategy plays little part when the software has decided otherwise.

i'm really upset that my girl is on her period... i can't get anything this week....

Indeed it does, however, it sometimes takes quite a long time to do so.

i am also very pissed off. what are we pissed off about? sorry, i didnt feel like reading your post, it was most likely an untinteresting rant about either dice or noobs that make bad moves or how the highranked players dont want to play with you.

ok, getting a little pissed off about games now...

Try losing 5 games in a row due to nothing more than poor dice but have a higher rank

All of my last 5 losses (ignore one 8-player freestyle escalating where I simply deadbeated during a stalemate, which I infact had the most accumulated armies and cards, and another stalemate where I was also in the lead and had led the game with kills where someone with 500 armies on the board got bored of the game and decided to suicide me) are due to poor dice.

A 3 player flat rate freestyle I lost because I missed on 30 v 16, to which I knocked it down to a single army that I couldn't take and the last player stole.

Another 5 player escalating freestyle I lost for the same reasons, lost 28 v 19 when sweeping the board (I had just cashed a 35 set, everyone else ended, the other player had cashed at 15 at the beginning of the round but never deployed, and when the 28 v 19 missed he deployed and got took the rest of the game).

Lost all my last 3 1v1's due to absolute crap dice like going 9v3 and going 1-7.

Almost all of the last 20 losses I have are due to poor dice completely when I outplayed my opponent.

ahem, someone missed the point of this thread... again... and mr. The Army. yes, i am pissed off, too. but i can't seem to pinpoint my aggression. probably has to do with losing the ping pong title of my neighbours backyard, to a guy that lives around the corner from us. to top it off, they are all french, and i had to listen to thunderous shouts of"SACREBLEU!!!!" every time i made a great save, got a point or was up in the match... i hated losing my title... but what i hated more was losing to a guy that was chain smoking with an ash tray on the table the entire match ("go ahead, if zee ball hitz zee asha-tray, punt for you.").. my anger shall not last, i will regain my title. but i'm still pissed off.-0

you must click your mouse very fast because it seems to me that doodle earth has the most luck involved. I used to play that map a lot for my 1 vs. 1 games but realized the risk i was taking

Just because it has the most luck involved, doesn't mean it's almost all luck. Ya I use CM fast, but I have to know what I'm doing. I take a continent, then wait for them to deploy and everything then fortify quickly to where they're attacking. That takes out almost all the luck in it. Almost every time I lose I got screwed by a 8v3 roll or something.
