The "revolution" won't go anywhere.

Sure, the site will suck for Twill for a while, while people flame him and spam and troll... but eventually, those "revolutionaries" will either get themselves banned, or tire of the cause. So things will turn back to normalcy eventually.

Yes, this is true.

Plus, though I totally sympathize with wicked, I have a hard time hating Twill, and a hard time thinking to myself "f*ck yeah, kill Twill!" whenever someone mentions it. Mostly because the people saying that are an especially moronic species of troll.

You want fair fora? Enter NOTA.

I can still play games here, the Foundry will always run fine. I have no problems.

Well, I am pissed at Twill... admittedly, this doesn't affect me much, like you, but I tend to care about things for the sake of what I feel is right. Plus, I enjoy arguing about things I care about.

Totally, I am upset at Twill too. I just don't feel murderous to him ;)

It's not so bad. Wicked probably needs some time off anyway... and now she's in NOTA! There's always a silver-lining.

You're probably right. It's their practice to sit back and let everyone talk themselves out.

Almost certainly true.
But we have to keep trying, and hope one day they will listen to the people that pay for this site.

I've mentioned this before in the past, and KidWhiskey's whinging post reminded me of it again. I still think the best way to go about being taken seriously is to stop paying these people. I obviously can't lead this boycott but I can vocally support it, and not get the premium I was planning to purchase. If we don't make our point effectively, we will bubble and bitch and moan in CB (where the posts still don't count, by the way) until we get tired of yelling "Free wicked!" at each other and submit. The way I see it, those are our two options.

The problem with any boycott is that we pay yearly... so even if the boycott lasted a month, only 1/12 of upset people would be boycotting. By the end of a whole year, whatever offense we're boycotting will have passed into memory long ago.

It probably won't. Sadly CC doesn't care about it's community and will bad the most annoying, and some will stop in fear of being banned. It's going to die, and they're not going to change anything. It's the reason why I'm not doing much. Though I do hate Twill :P

That's true. But if we want to make a point, that's how we need to do it. Really, the forum goers probably don't contribute much to the overall fund anyhow. It's a principle thing.

You have to understand something. I don't care about the "Revolution" because I no longer care. Sooner or later this place will reuturn back to normal, but it will be without me. You can always count on a bunch of newbies perpetually flowing in without history of the past, a sucker born every minute sort of effect. I will not start or join any more games. Sooner or later all my games will be finished and then so will I be.

Well... you could just stop paying. I mean, it's not like I'm Che Gueverra or anything...

Well, if his premium doesn't run out for months, it's not like boycotting payment is going to have any impact.

You're so negative...

I'm just saying. Talking about these things obviously doesn't work. It's essentially what he's doing in the long run anyhow.

im not part of the revolution but I ve made the decision a while ago to not renew my membership once it expires.
Which is why ive been recruiting newbs in hopes that they get premium which would give me a free month of premium.
But it seems more and more that this site is a cross between ebay and earth 2025 (dont get me started about these douches) so I think that I will not bring new players here anymore.
I wish I could delete the posts Ive made on the said site as more will probably be referred by it.

They claim this site is community driven but other than members doing all the work (maps, tourneys, etc) I dont see them care about what (supoposedly) leads this site.

Maybe they need ten community managers? or at least a couple ones that actually manages.
I bet ya TWILL is lackattack friend in real life and probably why he has the job, or still has it.

Well yes, but then to deadbeat out on my existing games would be wrong.

I'm currently down to four games. One is an eight player crossword with no cards. Unless I get eliminated soon that could drag on for another month or two with me taking a turn every other day or so.

I'm only hear checking on the General board while my games are winding down.
