criteria for filing an abuse report

I received a PM from a player who was very hostile in game chat, calling me a "Whore!" (He PMed with the wh-word) I am a woman player which he was aware of the fact that I am woman.
Never call a woman a whore! Especially over a game. Really shows a mans character to do such an imbecilical action.

Does this constitute enough to file an abuse report? In addition, he tried to tell me what to do on my turns for his advantage, tried to rush my turns, and in the end suicided on me just because he stated he did not want me to win.

Someone please answer!

Robin, if you can prove that it is a common thing for that user it will be looked into. Also if others come forward to say the same thing, then something will be done. Your best bet is to post and get it noted at least.

Honestly - suck it up. Something small like that may be stupid because it's completely irrelevant to the game, but I'd rather chat not be monitored strictly, which it would be if an abuse report was justifiable in your case. Banter is always common in online games, whether friendly or not.

robin, you are of course correct, but remember, you are not always dealing with men, and are often dealing with boys.

Feel free to make up for the failings of parents and schooling and society, but for the most part, dont take anything anyone says here personally, ignore the bad, enjoy the good, and youll have a blast.

Unfortunately all is so true, I would also advise you maybe PM him with your concerns, and let him know that his actions were uncalled for. If he apologizes, I would leave it there but if he ignores you, or gives you more slack, that would be the time to take more actions. No one here deserves to be treated badly, even if your player as AAFitz says was a boy, he still needs to know what he did was wrong. I've known far too many "boys" (and even girls for that matter) that took these bad habits with them and then they continue to be "boys. The curse of "Never-Never" land.

Hope this helps

its about time CC came down harder on these types of people, espically repeat offenders. ban their game chat. CC needs to take responsibility for its place in the community. And fabled there's banter and theres verbal abuse, which nobody should have to suck up!!

If you did not post nude pictures of yourself on your conquer club profile (currently not the case but has been reported to the mods twice for exactly that) then maybe people would not call you such names.
