How you can tell that This is Big

This is bigger than any community-wide upset I've seen before. Bigger than the upset over Classic, bigger than the railing against ratings, bigger even than the constant mild drone against random dice.. This is likely the biggest chaos we've seen yet.
As I look right now, the top 10 threads in GD are either about the Wicked situation, or the situation with this site in general. 15 of the top 20 threads in GD are about one of those things.
There is a thread about this in FW, and a (locked) one in C&A as well. There was a thread in the chatterbox until it was accidentally moved to FW. (Sweet&Sour irony... nobody can move it back, because the only active mod with powers in FW was Wicked.) I expect someone will suggest that wicked be reinstated soon, or perhaps her firing will appear to be a bug. In any case, this issue is reaching the entire community.
No issue has had this amount of widespread ruckus... There have been other things that have pissed the community off, and the customer service agenda of "let's just wait until people get tired of complaining" has worked every time -- thanks in great part to the fact that payments are year-long. But this issue is the biggest yet; maybe, just maybe, something will be different this time.

Yeah you'd think they would've given another mod powers there, and callouts where there are no specific mods when they took mine. Oh wait, that'd be the smart thing to do.
BTW, you need to add Spamalot deletion. That was huge.

Oh yeah, there's going to be a thread soon in callouts, as well, for a "reinstate wicked" usergroup. My prediction in S&B has already come true!

Also, im sorta new here but a few weeks after Ive joined it's started to be crap moves after crap moves.
Was it always like this?Im guessing no as this site seems to have grown quite fast.
Maybe they are overconfident or full of themselves?

Wow, the spamalot deletion, that takes me back...
The interesting thing is that when ole' AK was "asked to step down", precious few came to his defense. In fact, I doubt anyone besides the bushwackers gave a shit, because the penguin was a bit of a butthole and not generally well liked.
Somewhat of a different situation this time 'round.

Don't forget the blanket stache ban that was wrong on so many levels. twill said "who's stache?", a random list was provided, twill didn't even check it, just forum-banned them all when some hadn't even posted in the forums.

WHAT?!?!??!?! People defended him. Lack should have fired him anyway. he was a TERRIBLE mod. I vote the spamalot deletion. That and the decision to start locking spam.
Another big one was the forum update, I'm still mad our off-topic posts don't count.
