I was just informed that we premiums have an inbuilt statistical advantage when playing non premium, because, I was told "it only makes business sense!".

I DID NOT KNOW THIS! In fact, I think I have been seriously short changed! I seem to lose just as frequently to no premiums as to premiums. Perhaps even more?

I suspect I am not the only one so deprived! We must unite and demand our rights!

Of course it makes sense - you want to turn off all new potential members from the site that haven't paid yet. Why in the world wouldn't you try to keep a small community and hush away all newcomers...

Personally I love the extra dice rolls. Worth every penny.

But then why exactly should I be upset? For the record, I believe I lose much more to premiums, but the again, that's mostly all I play...

Yes this is true, in fact it is intitutively obvious to even a casual observer. You see premium players get to play more games at the same time than fremium players and the law of averages is always better with more numbers than with fewer. That and when we are kicking someone ass in 4 games we tend ot forget that we are getting our own asses kicked in 6 games. Drop that number down to 2 and 3 and you have one unhappy fremium.

Well, it was certainly "news" to me!

Jokes aside, I tried to point out that premiums do play more and so often (definitely not always) are a bit better ... but I should not have bothered. I just thought it was too good a comment not to share.

And, in case there are others who seriously believe this (no, I don't include you Juan ), perhaps to bring to Admins attention. But ... well, if they haven't convinced folks that the dice truly are random ... I don't see how this little twist will be disproven, either.

That has *nothing* to do with the law of averages. I suggest you go back and take statistics again. No statistical advantage is gained. Both accounts have the ability to approach infinity in the number of games played. Freemium may approach infinity slower, yet it still approaches infinity and thus there is no difference between the two in terms of games played when trying to figure out statistics.

i pm'd the guy in question, and enlightened him in a very kind way. he wasn't aware of some of the basic facts about CC and how it all works. then i told him how to look at the top of the leader board to see all the freemiums sitting on the first and second page, etc... he was just making assumptions, and now knows he was incorrect...-0

p.s.-whew, he almost let the cat out of the bag@!!!

Honestly, that was partly why I posted ... My saying that was something differant from someone else saying it. Also, I was tired and just did not have the creativity to come up with a nice comeback. Just "hey .. no way"... and that was not enough.

However, the strange part is that this guy is in no way a newbie, he has been around since January 2007! Makes me wonder how many others are out there with similar ideas.
