*edit* And not just taking a singleton for a card. The breaking bonuses kind of attacking.
Exactly

These types of games tend to be the most difficult. You have to plan long-term, not short term, thinking in terms of in 5-6 rounds I'll be doing this, and I will have this. My opponents, barring unexpected advances, should be doing this, etc.
They're also the most interesting for me. If you're careful in how to attack, you can gain sudden advantages that, if not win the game, can put you in a dominant position.
Green, in my game, about 20-30 rounds back, was just down to 3 terits, in Scandinavia <_< He broke through and grabbed NA at the same time I made a sudden move for africa, which put me out of a bonus there, and also nearly eliminated yellow while he was holding africa. Blue steadily expanded through Asia with resistance from us... It's been quite the game. Now green, having taken europe in the past few rounds, is now competing with me, while blue retreated due to us concentrating on the troop leader.
yeti_c, oVo, BaldAdonis, those are nice. I'm hoping to have some games like that, they seem to be what keeps me coming back to the site. A few games here and there, while fun, don't hold my attention as well as games like those.
